KritzKast #109: The End Is Nigh

Posted on: Mar 24th 2011 by Agro

What would you do with $2200? Buy your first car, start a collage fund, or trade it all for a hat? I know what I’d do, I’d use half of it to buy 500 keys for 500 crates then I’d spread the rest evenly between Doug Church, CommFT and KritzKast.

I wanna see you go cover these new donation hats from the latest update. Is $100 for a hat REALLY worth it, even if its for charity?

I feel honored by your answers :)
And in short terms… i kinda feel the same way over the Gmod community in general.

And I would love to get in contact to you again and talk further about this.

Contact me when you get the chance!

Colin, you’re not paying $100 for the hat, the hat is only a bonus for donating to charity.

@Colin no, a $100 hat is not worth it for the sole reason of buying it. but it is worth it if you were going to give $100 to Japan anyways.

I want to say that I LOVE this show and I listen to every episode (thank you tf2 blog for getting me to this awesome show!). Also, about the Mann CO. store, since it comes up quite often in your discussions. I believe that over all it is great thing for TF2 to have, After all, it isn’t mandatory. I dislike Gabe’s speech about trying to fit gamer’s payments and it was overall confusing and dumb (sorry Gabe). What it really is is a way to give a little back to the developers for working on it for 10 years. By some gamers contributing a bit it expands the game and extends its life span it also gives money to the amazing contributors and makes the game community self-sufficient. Once the developers stop updating a game, it’s pretty much reached the end of its life. I’d much rather have TF2 last for another 4 years or more with those annoying cross-overs and Mann store than have a crap sequel! Lastly, I feel that VALVe is also trying to turn TF2 into a kind of avatar thing on the Xbox or Mii on the Wii with its customizations and cross-overs.

They might as well make a “crafted” rarity for any items that have been crafted.
